Its good friday...and i'm currently super hungry...1 and a half more hours before i can eat...arghh! this is seriously pure torture..

anw, i went for mass at 9am. i think it was abt 2 hrs. man, after kneeling so many times, my knees are in terrible terrible pain. when i came back home after that super long service, i just slept all the way tiil 5pm and then had tution. at 8pm, i went back to church for stations of the cross. it was so nice. everyone held candles and the whole grotto was lighted up! that was again very tortoureous. we had to kneel on the road! thats like damn pain!!!and oh yah, justin had to carry the cross! and oh my god! he stripped his T-shirt off in front of the entire congregation. and he was "nailed" to the cross! haha. and he was acting dead! haha.
oh gosh, i'm so so so hungry! at 12 am sharp, we're all gonna go for supper.
anyway, yesterday was so much better.it was maundy thursday. xavier came over to our house to bathe and then colin, xavier and i went to church. although we were there at 6.50pm, 10 mins earlier, it was already damn crowded. and well, we had to stand right at the back for the 1 and a half hours. i felt so suffocated. there was people everywhere! and it was also so hot and stuffy at the back. hhaha. thats why i came like half an hour early for today's mass.
yeah, so after mass, it was that passover supper thing. it was fun. and it was a very good experience. we had to all like sit on the floor and eat, just like during the passover. and then we had to drink wine. haha. it was so funny. immediately after everyone took their sip of wine, they were coughing it out. haha...and then the next thing we were given to eat was weird. lettuce dipped in salt water. haha, i was like wtf?!?! haha. but it didn't taste so bad. we were also give this type of minty leves. which taste like colgate and tasted kinda gross. haha.
next, we were give unlevened bread. okay, this tasted good! haha.probably cos it was tasteless. haha. and then the "main course" came. lamb and chicken. it tasted good actually! haha.
after dinner, we had the washing of feet. to cleanse one another. haha. so cheryl and nicolette washed my feet. haha... and i washed mel's feet. haha. it was just so weird u know...washing someone's feet.... but its a really touching act if u think abt it... :)
and after the whole thing, we just like sat and talked and talked. it was quite an experience. it was as if we were back in the old times , at the realy passover meal itself!
